Natures Beauty

yesterday for memorial day we took a family outing to the mountains...it was so pretty up there, we went and checked out the camp site we are going to stay at this year, its called Kelti Meadows, we usually stay at Fresno Dome, but this year we might have horses with us so we had to find a camp site that alowed that. The amount of rain and snow we have had turned calm little creeks into rushing rivers that were amazing to watch...and I got a great shot of the mountains higher than us that are still covered in snow, there where patches of snow were we were, but not much...so it was just a nice warm day. Ken, Ashley, Puppers and I just got a chance to get away from Fresno and just relax, Ashley didn't want to go at first, she wanted to watch a Not So Raven marathon lol but then when we got up there she didn't want to come home...but we needed to get home to bar-b-que. It was just a nice chance to get away as a family and not deal with the stress in my home.

Ashley has only a few days left in school, shes pretty upset about that, she loves school so much, she is scared that she won't be in clesses with her friends, but I will transfer her if they put her in a different class (switch teachers) because her and her friends are all straight A's and have GATE togather, they challange each other, and since they are so far ahead of the other kids to split them up wouldn't make sence. Ashley really likes her teacher this year, and is afraid of getting a mean teacher, she has been lucky enough to have almost all nice teachers except her kinder teacher lol...so she doesn't know what its like to deal with a teachers drama lol...she hates vacations, she is a school girl, and she loves to do her work, and man is she a reader, she owns over 2 thousand books and has checked out nearly all the kids and teen books at our local library, she rereads alot of them when she runs out lol, she has read all the Harry Potter books over 10 times each, she loves those books, not so much the movies, she hates that the book and movies are different so she watched the movies at the theatres when they come out, then shes kinda done with them, we bought them for her, and she has skimmed through them a time or two, but they frustrate her lol, Ilike her to read the books of movies before seeing the movie, I like that she can see the story in her mind, sad that the movies are a let down after that, but I am glad she loves her books.

Well I am off to blog on my diet journal lol...the weekend was not kind lol
