Monterey Bay Aqarium

Yesterday I went with my daughter and her 5th grade class to Monterey Bay Aqarium...it was so nice, almost lol.

We got on the bus at 7:30 in the morning...no big deal I take her to school at that time every day, so we get on the freeway and head towards the Aqarium...we got to Madera when the Radiator blew up...oh yeah...30 5th graders and 10 chaperones and the teacher...we all had to sit on that bus till a new bus could come get us...on the side of a very busy freeway...no windows to open...for the most part the kids handled it very well, they started to get very hot and cranky (the adults were worse)...finally a new charter bus gets there...we get in, and ewwww it smells like a few dozen air freshener cans were used in there...the seat were all tore up, and the TV's up above rattled so bad we thought they were going to fall on us...we endure, we want to get to the aqarium (this cost 35 per student) finally we get htere, kids are hungry as we missed our first stop for breakfast...but we can't eat for another 45 min...so they take us into the aqarium...we go to the Jellie fish area first...we look all around and take a ton of pics...oh no lunch time we are running late...so we rush out and then up a hill to a eating area...we are then hurried through our meal...get back to the aqarium and go to the shark area...I love sharks, so this was amazing, we looked at everything, enthralled...I got to touch a small shark, oh i was cool, it felt like bumpy soft rubber...it was awesome...we then go see the otters, they were so cute, they were eating and the girls loved it...Ashley was frustrated because shes so small and they kept crowding her...super mom to the rescue, I get her in front of me and Ana And Kushkeron really close to me with my arms around them, I dare these other people to push my girls again...they don't. We then head over to the Kelp forest, it was interesting, the girls got to touch star fish and crabs and kelp, they loved it...we then headed over to the Penguins...how funny are these little guys lol. They walk so funny, and one kept hitting the glass towards us, it was alot of fun, then the girls played on the splash zone play are...it was funny, they played on little sea horses...we then went to the discovery store...bought small suveniers...

On to Cannery Lane...it was so nice walking with the girls down the street giving the street entertainers change...we then had hot ewwy goeey cinamon rolls...ohhh they were good. We then headed down to the beach...not a nice place truelly...there were a ton of homeless people under the bridge, and men changing openly out there...so I rushed the girls away and we goofed off in more stores...hurry back, get on the bus and head home. We stop at Las Banos for diner, Taco Bell, where we have 30 min to get our food and eat, we were in line for 25 min lol so we then have to rush and eat...get back on the bus and head home...I took 172 pictures lol but I will only pist a few...it was alot of fun hanging out with the kids and enjoying the time with Ashley...it was a wierd and fun field trip
