Vacation

well it was great as I said before, I just thought I would go into a little more detail...

We had 5 day park hopper passes, this alows you to go between the 2 parks with one ticket, so we went to disneyland 3 days and california adventure 2...Disney Mon, Cali tues, disney wed and so on.

I love California Adventure Lan...its more interactive and laid back...the crowd is alot smaller and there are so many things that the kids get to participate in, their big parade is called the Block Party Bash...they choose kids out of the crowd to dance with them (Ashley got chosen) and they throw beach balls into the crowd and the crowd throws them back...its so much fun to watch and dance to...the kids went crazy over this, getting to be apart of this huge production, and at the end the cones from toy story 2 blow thier tops and hundreds of nerf balls go frlying out to the kids.

We went and saw Aladin on stage again...it is so amazing lol...its a huge production, it is like going and seeing a large broadway production, it was great, and the Genie was so funny...oh my goodness I recomend this to one and all...me and Ash have been walking around saying some of his goofy things lol...

She had me ride Grizzly river run 9 times lol, she loves it, I did to I must admit, just a warning you do get drenched so do not wear white as many unsuspecting people did lol...

California Adventure has an area dedicated to the boardwalk and pier atmosphere of our coasts and its so much fun, theres carnivale type games and tons of fun rides...then you go to a place where they make fresh french bread...oh my it was good, you can go on a tour of how they make it and its a blast...Rosie O' Donnel is the person on the screen who walks you through it...and the bread is amazing...we also did a tortila tour...more free food lol

then you go to the hollywood area and you get to see how movies are made and watch some, meet the characters, dance and so much more...theres a ride called soaring over california, its great, its like you are hang gliding through all the great places here in Cali...napa valley, yosimite, disneyland lol, its a very cool ride thats really neat to ride...

I enjoyed DisneyLand as well Monday and Tuesday...Friday was just to crowded...on the first 2 days there were no lines anywhere...we just walked onto rides over and over again...the parade is so cool, its their anniversary one so its a huge production...the fireworks were larger than life, they made shapes that were so cool, cubes, hearts, stars and Mickeys head lol...I had never seen anaything like it before...

We walked all around and had a blast dancing at club buzz and laughing while we played games...it was so much fun...

Just like everybody else we did have some problems...my mom has trouble getting around so she sits...alot...and at times Ashley would get so impatient...she truely tried not to, but it was hard at times, my mom is also a little grouchy so she was always scowling lol...but we made her laugh alot as well...on one ride...Indian Jones and the Temple of Doom the walk just to get through the line area is 2 miles lol, we rode that ride 7 times...thats a lot of walking just for one ride lol...and on splash mountain its a mile and a half going up and down stairs...so yeah I got a very very very good work out lol

We had a very nice suite that had a juccuzi bath tub in it...so at the end of the day I would fill it up with steaming hot water and turn on the jets and relax, oh it felt so good...I let Ash soak as well but only in luke warm water...we had a blast playing around in the otel room and going for walks (yep we walked even more)

We had bought some of the great sour dough bread at cali land and went in search of butter to eat it lol...there were no stores any where near our hotel, just little tourist places...none had butter...so we first went to IHOP which was next door and I asked for some and they thought I was truely wierd but gave me some...then we went to Dennys which was on the other side of our hotel and they laughed at us but gave us some as well...lol so we had bread up in our room lol...it was a fun hunt for me and Ash...we laughed alot...

I felt bad the Alex didn't get to come, so we got her and her little brother a present...what happend is in the past and now I just want to make sure there are no bad feelings for anyone so we can go on being a happy family...we will take them to them tomorrow or Friday...

Ken missed me...ALOT lol...he called me a few times and I called him...but it was nice to have him at home waiting for me with a big grin and arms wrapped tightly around me...I am usualy the one left behind missing him lol

my dogs missed me so much...Puppers had me pinned to the bed as he loved me and cuddled me...he is so my big boy...I missed him alot to lol...Lady and Penny were jumping all over and crying till I went out with them...they know I spoil them, I am the one that showers attention on them...my kitty Mama was a little angry with me and let me know, but after about an hour of letting me know I had no right leaving that long she was on my lap with my blanky nursing lol...I love my animals so much...I can not fathom a life with out them...

Vacations are very nice, but next time I need to make sure we have more time to rest before Ashley has to go back to school lol...we got home at 11:30 and went to the races at 1:30 and didn't get home till after midnight and Sunday was the only day we had to relax a little...I had laundry and stuff to do for her and she needed to get all her work togather...so we have yet to really just veg out...and I think we need to lol...

I have a feelign I caught a cold from being wet non stop on vacation lol and from the little colder weather and the sun lol...I have a stuffy head and benedry is not helping at all...but I gues thats a small price to pay for all the fun we did have...

so much is going on here at home...my aunts white blood cells are falling...shes at 1.3 or something like that, I am not sure what it means, they are testing her for everything...

oh and a huge wierd twist in my family...I guess everyone knows who Scott Peterson is...he lived kind of close to where I live, I had seen him a few times...well the lady he was cheating on his wife with Amber Frye had a little girl, shes 4 years old...it tuns out that after a blood test her daughter is my cousins...it took us all by surprise...my cousin is a great guy who will love that little girl like mad, but I am betting hes pretty mad at missing 4 years of her life, and the man who thought he was the dad is mad that he paid all the child support and he loves the little girl...its drama drama drama here...the news here is going nuts with it...I hope it all fades away so my cousin can just spend time with his newly found daughter...

My brother is doing good, he looks really good...he looks happy, and that makes me so happy...hes actually put on some weight and thats so cool...he amazes me every day hes here...the docs have said he has a year, he has months and hes far surpassed all of that...hes a fighter and I love him so much...hes my wonderfully goofy big brother...

well I am off to lay down a bit :o)
