Long Weekend

This has been a very long weekend...its been good and bad and all of that lol

On Friday we didn't do to much, we went to diner at Taco Bell...they brought back Tostadas (Ashleys fav) and then we came home and me and Ashley goofed off for a bit...

Saturday we all had to get up early to get ready to go to the races...When Ken or Larry race they have to be at the track at 11...and since thats my ride I have to be there at 11 as well lol...the main gates don't open till 3...so me and Ashley sit in the stands all alone forever lol...we had fun though, we took paper and all of that...getting all our lists ready to help us not forget anything for DisneyLand...

The racing was amazing, I will add pics of it later...Larry raced and he did really good, he came in 4th...see his car is a 3 cyclinder and all the others are 4 so he will never beat them...not till nexy year when Ken and Larry have their good cars ready for the track...

Sunday my comp started to go nuts...but since it was a family day we left it be...we slept off and on during the day lol...and then Ashley wrote up disney news letters getting everyone more excited lol...

Monday we had to completely redo my comp :o( and Ashley was writing out an Itenerary for our stay at the park...we didn't go anywhere this year just because we wanted to chill out as a family...we watched Wild FIre last night and me and Ashley wrestled on the couch with puppers...just for some reason this weekend felt like it was so so so long

I am excited to be going back to the Happiest Place on Earth and at the same time I feel guilty...I am living my life, almost kind of carefree, when so many others can't...

Kens brother left Friday for New Orleans for FEMA...I hope hes ok, I don't think Kens mom has heard from him yet...Mark (Kens bro) is a good guy, hes sort of like a stoner I guess you would say...long hair, stoner attitude, but when it comes to his kids and family hes very serious...he will do all he can to help anyone possible while there...hes in my prayers

My Aunt has been not feeling to well for awhile...shes losing her white blood cells...they are doing all kinds of testing...I am really worried about her.

I hate that so many in my family are sick, that they are all going through so much...My Papa had a tripple bi-pass 6 years ago, the bones in his chest never fused right so they shift and cause him so much pain...my Grandma has really high blood preasure and is showing signs of alhimers...my uncle keeps getting Cellulitus and its getting to a point where the docs want to amputate to prevent the spread...my mother battled breast cancer and now lives everyday with side effects and fear...my brother is terminally ill, my father battled testicular cancer and hes also a drunk...I have had 6 surgeries in a year...I lost my grandma 4 years ago to althimers, my dadas dad died of cancer...the list just keeps going trust me...its just not fair.

I want there to be a magic cure for all of them...I hate seeing anyone suffer, especially my family...

In October is the Light The Night Walk...we do it every year...we do it for all the people we love and all the people we have yet to meet but are linked to through all of this...its an amazing night...all kinds of survivors and those battling it all right now are there, togather...giving and recieving strength...its a powerful night...we are all ready preparing for it

Well I am going to go for now...theres just so much to do to get ready to go...packing for a week is alot of work lol
