Life Rolls Along

"sigh" so life is what it is right....right.

ever wish you knew the right things to say or do for a friend in need...I do. A friend of mine is getting a divorce...the SOB who shes married to is and was cheating on her...for a long time. He is now living with the woman (she was a family friend of thiers) oh and she also left her husband and 2 small babies to be with the SOB...yup they deserve each other...but the friend, and her kids, they deserve so much better...the hurt they are all experiencing right now is so hard...I want to do something, anything for them...I just don't know what to do besides being their whenever I am needed...my heart breaks for the families destroyed by this...

Ken and I went shopping tonight, it was nice...sometimes, even if for an hour, getting away with just him helps...we got the needed things like toothpaste and shampoo...and stocking stuffers and he got me my boots :o) yes they are for christms, but I needed to be there to try them on (I have small feet so its hard to find shoes to fit) so I got a great pair and I can't wait to wear them...he got me body butter...love the smells...and almond oca lol wooohooo!!!! we just had a nice time walking around and talking...

My grandparents had to make an emergency trip to Idaho because my grandmas sister Lou is very sick and had a stroke...shes an amazing woman, she can play the piano so good, as a kid she would always sit with me and teach me what the keys were and small songs...she had a way of making you feel like the most important person in the world...she is a loving woman who always had open arms for my brother and me...its hard knowing shes so sick and not being there for her...I am just glad my grandma is there with her, they are very close...I am just worried for her...and for them driving in the storms there...

Life is going good and as you see by the pictures below there are also things in my life that make me smile...wasn't Alexis beautiful? She was so happy, she was practically bouncing off the walls...I just can't believe how grown up she looks...seems like they all grew up over night, I am just glad we got to be there to see her get ready and to leave...she was so stunning...lol I am a very proud auntie :o)

I will write more tomorrow...I have so much to share lol...
