Going Camping...Again

We are trying very hard to get everything togather to go camping...we are leaving Thursday and will be home sunday...it used to be a huge family thing for Ken, until this year. His parents couldn't make it so no one else wanted to come...so its just us. And poor Ashley is stuck with just us again as none of her friends can make it...so its gonna be alot of fishing and hiking for me lol :o)

We are taking my silly dog Puppers...he loves to go and well I love to be with him lol, hes very active, hes a ballaholic though, so we are packing tons of his damn balls lol...I also like it cause Ashley sleeps in her own tent and so now he sleeps with her...that way I can get some sleep lol.

I tried so hard to get some sleep last night, i took 2 benedry, 2 arthritis pills and I took a codine for the searing pain in my shoulder...and I was still up all freakin night. It has been almost 12 years since I last slept through the night, I know its largely psychological, alot of bad things tend to happen in the dark, and some I can't forget, no matter how hard I try. But damn I get tired lol...

Ashley is running around the house trying to put a sock on my poor dogs snout...good thing hes such a friendly sweet dog lol...some dogs get bitchy at his age (12) but he stayed all sweet and cuddly lol...he is just so damn cute...don't get me wrong I love my other 2 dogs just as much, but they are tiny dogs, or sorta tiny and so they don't go everywhere with us like Pup does...Lady is 13 pounds, shes a cocker/poodle, shes 6 years old...Penny is a 3 pound yorkie...she is so tiny and cute...well shes kinda wierd looking which makes her cute to me lol...if you've ever seen dark crystal she looks like a cross between the bad guys and fizz gig the rolling dog lol. All 3 silly dogs are my babies, but Puppers is sorta special, he was my brothers dog, when david found out his cancer was terminal he gave Pup to us...he felt he wouldn't be able to give him all the time he deserved...so I do tend to do more for him, just cause it makes me feel closer to David (hes still alive and fighting, just sort of distant since he found out, afraid of getting close and hurting more) anyways...Puppers wants me to go out and soak him with the hose lol...

Its been 110 here for the last few days...so damn hot...yesterday it was hot and overcast so it was so damn humid...ugh it was gross lol, I can't wait to go to the mountains were its only 75 degrees lol ...
