The Trueth

Ok so the school sent home a letter trying to explain what happend...

They said that there was a fight between to adults that had nothing to do with the school...

Leaves alot of grey area don't you think?

Ok so the LAdy and man with the baby were on the campus before the fight, I saw them, they asked me to use my cell phone, if they had nothing to do with the school, how is it they were on campus walking around freely?

The lady screamed that the man was trying to steal her baby, it was true, we all watched as her tried to yank the baby out of the stroller, while she was strapped in...

I called 911 (school said they did lol) they only received one call they said...soooo I havea problem with the fact the school didn't address any of the questions all of us parents have about the situation...

Ashley is still scared, she lets me walk her all the way in the mornings now...

We are going to bring up all of these issues Monday when school starts again, make them address the strangers on the campus, the lack of information and the false information we all received...

I don't think its asking to much for them to just be straight forward, to stop the panicking before it starts, but her school is like that, they sweep everything under the rug until they are forced to discuss things. I am a in your face kinda mom, I may be a shy, quiet person, but when it comes to my daughter I will not let things slide, or let people get away with half trueths, we all as parents deserve better from our childs school...and so now I am making sure we get it.

Today we have to go to a diner for Kens Grandmas birthday, it will be our first time meeting, I am a little scared and happy all at once. Its always hard for me to meet new people, especially when they are important to people you love...so I went and got a new outfir, cute shoes and a pretty necklace to go with it lol

We got very bad news from Ashleys eyes on Thursday, thats why I haven't been on...she has a
Orbital pseudotumor, its a swelling of the tissues behind the eye, causeing constant preasure to her eyes and pushing them forward, they are worried about the presure possibly pushing on the optic nerve and causing blindness. Hers is pretty bad, and may require surgery, scares the living hell out of me...we now have a reason for the constant headaches and so forth...just really has me worried, the surgery is no small surgery, its big, and shes so small :o(

Well I am off to straighten her hair and get it all pretty for her...please keep her in your thoughts as we go through the next few weeks of observation and surgical consults...

Thanks in advance :o)

Poor girl. When we lived in a bigger city, I went to pick my son up from school and there were cops all over the place, but I was able to walk right into the school and no one stopped me or told me to be careful, I found out the next day, there had just been a shooting. Great. Alex's first day of school in the small town, someone was burning garbage and something went off like a shot and Alex gets on the ground and starts crawling towards the building. lol. City boy. I feel for you about Ashley's surgery. Erin had both eyes operated on when she was only 4. They had to loosen some muscles and when she cried after, there was blood in the tears. We always worry about our babies.

Hi! I came across your blog after doing a search on pseudo orbitaltumor. I suffer from this rare condition, as well. If you're interested in more about it, please check out the community blog I've set up for others:

http://www.diwata.net/orbital

How old is your daughter? I think it's even more rare to find those that have this condition that are under 21.
