Thank you.....

thank you to everyone who kept Ashley in their thoughts and prayers...it apparently worked...the swelling will always remain, but it has gone down to what is now considered her normal...they will continue to monitor it, but for now shes ok...wheeeew

It has taken a huge load off of my shoulders and mind knowing it may just all turn out ok, knowing she was going to have to go through all the complications of a surgery was teraing me up...my brother has had several eye surgeries...as a kid he had a freak horrible accident that lead to surgery after surgery to save his eye...

We were playing with my squek toys ( I was like 4) and he decided he didn't want to hear them squek anymore so...well he got a bar-b-que fork (very large and sharp) to pry them out, he slipped, and the fork got his eye...bad...the hospital handled it wrong which cost him precious time...he had his last surgery when he was 16, I guess I was so worried that something could happen to her which would lead to life long complications, my brother no longer has vision in that eye.

Well I just wanted to do a quick update to let you all know she is ok :o) now I just have to keep praying that it stays that way
