Growing up

I hate that my baby is growing up, thats she can walk away into new situations and she no longer needs me there. I know its hard for everyone, but man it sucks.

Ashley is going in to high school next year, she is an amazingly smart, witty individual...and as proud as I am of her, I am still saddend by how quick the time went by.

She no longer fits in my lap, I no longer get to read her all those amazing stories as she falls asleep. I no longer get to hold her as she falls asleep, nor do I get to hold her as we go down the slide...I miss all of that and so much more.

I just wish I could rewind time again...just for a bit
