Music

I love music...it means alot to me...it helps me to calm down, always has...today I have not turned on the TV just the stereo, and I have been so much happier lol

I love every form of music, and I have been able to get my daughter into all the different types of music...you should see her sing along with Linkn Park lol its so funny...the thing is until she was 8 I never let her hear anything except Disney and childrens music, I didn't want her exposed to all the lyrics out there...but at 8 I saw that she would hear it anyways and allow a certain amount for her to hear...she loves radio disney...and Kiss Country...

Today she has been listening to Ray Charles, hes new to her and she loves his music...she has a very broad base for music and I am thankful for that...when she was younger my little niece Lexi and her were in the back seat and asked me to play Uncle Cracker's Follow Me...so I did, and those two were dancing in their seats and singing along, and they were the cutest thing, until that point they had been shy around each other, they talked me into playing it over and over on the ride home, and I didn't mind at all lol...I love the way music brings people togather...

I had a student with Autism and she loves music...when theres no music, she is unresponsive, I learned that every genre' of music set off a different emotion in her, she would paint, draw and move to the music, but when it went off she was lost inside...I played music for her alot, and I talked to her alot...she was amazing...I miss her, I am no longer working there, but I wish I was, I miss my kids...

Ever since I was a little girl music has played a huge part in my life, great memories of singing with my brother in the car(completely off key cause I can not sing lol) and of joinging choir in school so I could sing at David's plays...me and David would blast it in our rooms to hide the arguing of our mom and step dad...music was our outlet...I listen to everything, I love it all, David goes with the times lol, what evers popular...I bet when hes alone in his room its all different lol...as a kid his favorite song was richard marxs, right here waiting...he would play it over and over...I am not sure what peace he found in it, but it helped him...

Music is amazing, its great the way people can relate to a song, or to a person through a song...Music :) right now its Uncle Kracker singing the CRR song give me the beat boys to free my soul, I wanna get lost in Rock and Roll and drift away...amazing
