Snowed Out

Well we went camping, we spent Friday night and then on Saturday it snowed on us the whole freakin day lol...

So Friday we get there, set up camp, and fish a little...all the fun camping things...then off to bed...I made Ash sleep with the dog since she wanted her own tent and I was scared about it lol...we all froze, it was so cold, we had our sleeping bags, blankets and tons of clothes and we still all froze...the Saturday we get up, get a fire going...and it starts to snow...I took Ash down to the creek to fish some more...then we hiked around the area...still snowing, just not hard...

We go to Greys Mountain to hike to the falls and fish there, snowing off and on still...rocks were so slipery, and yep I fell...ouch my butt lol...we fished for 2 hours, no damn fish...so we go back to camp.

We were all pretty tired, but still more work to be done. We headed out for more firewoood, and when we got back and got a nice fire going the snow truely hit, we were in a freakin snow storm, and it dumped on us bad...it was getting beyond cold and we were miserable, so we broke camp...FAST lol and headed home.

We got home at 10 and had to unpack the truck and all of that, then Sunday we had to re do the tents and all of the other stuff we threw in in haste...we have had no down time at all, but it was fun while it lasted, we are going back for our annual trip in July so we will get to have more time then. We go foe 4 nights then so we get to relax and enjoy it more, we get to hike and go fishing and laugh and goof off lol...that and there will be more than just the 3 of us lol, Kens whole family goes, so the chores are all shared ;o)

So that was our weekend, although it sounds hectic and rushed we did enjoy it and it gave Ash and I some alone time to just kick back and laugh...

Oh and Ken quiet smoking a week ago, he has been hell to live with, he has been cranky, rude and well hell, mean...but I thought it was all worth it to have him around longer and healthier and not all stinky lol, but I went through all f it for nothing, he bought cigarettes when we went camping, now when he stops again its back to him being an ass, the worst part is he doesn't realize it and then expects all to be happy around him, it was hard...so we will see how it goes again lol...
