New Year...

I hope everyone had a happy and safe new year :) We stayed home with Ash and played board games and rock band lol it was pretty fun.

We were able to get our truck back, thanks to Kens mom, things are going to be hard here for awhile, so many things hitting at once...

2 pets had to go to the vets in just over a month from each other, first Libby was having an allergic reaction to something, scared the living hell out of us, then Frahnz got an ear infection. Poor sweet Frahnz was in so much pain...it started off with ear mites (ewww) and then he scratched it and it got horrid, took him to the vet, both him and Monkey got ear mite meds and he got alot of TLC...we have to clean their ears once a month with some oil, such is life when you have fur babies. Good thing is we have an amazing vet who never charges us what the others in her own office would, that and she is absolutely the sweetest lady :) so it did cost alot, but not as much as any where else in town lol.

We are all done with christmas here, all the decorations put away, everything back to its crazy normality lol. Christmas was nice...we spent the day relaxing here at home, my brother came over with his girlfriends daughter, they played rockband with Ash lol, Ash was not happy that they snaked her guitar and demoted her to the singer, besides they sucked lol but it was cute to watch them :)

Christmas was small, not much in the way of gifts, but we did try to get her a little bit of everything she wanted, or at least things I knew she was into...Ken and I did good and choosing things, she was very happy. My mom got her rockband, she ordered it for her a few months ago lol and it was wrapped waiting for christmas forever lol...she ordered it through HSN so that she could make payments...lol she just so wanted to get it for Ash and this was the only way she could, I love that crazy old woman.

As many people know I am a big animal lover, not like a crazy insane person, but I am fairly agressive at somethings...I will never ever understand why any person would think it is ok to mistreat their animals, I just dont understand it at all, they are so dependant on us for everything, they pretty much live to love us, and the people who abuse that make me ill. A few days ago this very tiny kitten showed up at my door, she had no meat on her bones, I mean none...she wasn't feral so she had a home at some time, this baby came when you called, wasn't afraid of the dogs...typical house kitten behavior (the feral kittens out front kick my ass until I can gain their trust, I will take pictures of my scarred up hands to prove it lol)

This baby kitten was injured, bones sticking up everywhere, heart breaking...we tried all the rescues in our area, trying to find a safe no kill shelter for her, but because I live in a piece of shit town that has no idea on how to spay and nueter, every place was beyond full...I couldn't bring her in my house because if she had any illness's she could spread it to my cats, so she slept in a very warm kitty bed out front (I spoil the ferals and strays, we built them a nice bed, safe from wind, rain and dogs, its full of blankets) We fed her kitty food soaked in warm water...but she neded more than I could give her, so we took her to the spca...

We got to the shelter (high kill) and the lady had us carry her into the stray kitty area, dude there were hundreds of tiny kittens in there, I am not even exaggerating, it was heart breaking, all these young kittens crying out, I started to cry...we then had to fill out papers on where we found her and all of that...I hated leaving her there, I feel like I let her down...ughhhh it truely hurts me. The spca Lady saw my distress and she said she understood, she will never understand how people could do such things to their pets...she called me today and said she found a lady willing to foster the kitty till she was stronger and that the vet said her hip was displaced, looked like trauma such as from a kick (her words) and starved...so at least I know she will be ok.

I will post pictures later of the many ferals and strays I am taking care of, working on getting them all spayed and nuetered...funny each one is amazingly special, and I am the only person they trust lol...Marble (the one I have tamed the best) will let Ashley love her, we bring her in and she plays with the cats in here and the dogs, gets warmed up, cuddles and then runs to the door to be let out lol, She has stolen my heart...lol I could go on all day about the cats outside, but I think you would all just think I was a crazy lady...but I do gotta add I will take care of any and all animals...I love snakes and lizards the most...Dogs are absoluletly my fav, lol I am just a crazy animal person I think lol

I have a very sad story about a new cat to the neighborhood, he had a home and all...I will post it later, it still is bothering me to much right now :(

Well I am off, its almost 1 am here and I wanna watch Calamity Jane lol...love love love old movies, esoecially ones with Doris Day or Sandra Dee...ohhh or Debbie Reynolds lol The Tammy series and Gidget are my secret favs lol so shhhhh
